Kindergarten Classroom

In Finnish early childhood education, learning is understood as a lifelong process.

In Finnish educational philosophy, every child has the right to play, learn through play and enjoy the things they learn through play. Playing helps them form a better understanding of themselves, their identity and the world around them. Play is a part of all activities implemented by the children and with the children.

Bright
Babies

Age: 4 month old
- 1 year old

Our curriculum, which was created in collaboration with the University of Helsinki and is based on the Finnish national curriculum, is appropriate for students as young as four months old. Our top-notch resources include a whole age category called "Bright Babies," which is designed for kids from 4 months to 1 year old.

Activities for sensory exploration and singing, two of the finest techniques for early learning, are included in the Bright Babies products. Also, we offer "pedacare" advice, in which we make recommendations on how to turn ordinary events into teaching opportunities and how to interact with kids while carrying out activities. Instructors continuously get training in the form of knowledge about the many stages of growth and areas of care, such as feeding and nutrition, relaxation and sleep, and maintaining hygiene. Our teachers are enabled to provide the youngest children with every day high-quality education thanks to this assistance.

Newborn

Tiny Tots

Age: 1-2 years old

In this age group, children learn how to walk confidently, express themselves and develop self-awareness. They investigate their environment independently and through a diverse range of hands-on activities. Children are constantly learning new things at their own personal pace. Teachers' main focus should be on physical care and emotional wellbeing.

Children start to enjoy each other’s company by engaging in parallel play, which is when they play side-by-side, and they slowly start to take other’s wishes, needs and feelings into consideration .They practice how to act according to common rules and they begin to understand cause and effect.

Eager Explorers

Age: 3-4 years old

At the age of 3 to 4 years old, children show an interest in independence, engage in imaginative play and express a sense of fearfulness. As their group name suggests, they are independently testing out their newly developed skills, especially verbal and physical abilities. Children are able to combine gross motor skills, for example, by dressing and undressing themselves. They are also very energetic and active. They love to challenge themselves and try out their gross motor skills in both indoor and outdoor sessions.

At this age, children are eager to learn more about the world around them and they usually ask a lot of “why” questions. By asking these questions and hearing the answers, children increase their vocabulary and develop their thought processes. Learning at this age happens through playful situations.
